Frequently asked questions
API access is enabled on eligible plans. Once enabled, you can generate access tokens from your Stora account and start using the API. To get started, read this help article, then set up API keys, webhooks, and more from your Stora account.
Our API is available to customers on Advanced, Premium and legacy higher level plans. If your plan doesn't have access to the API, please reach out via our in-app chat support.

The Stora App Marketplace is the first true app marketplace in self storage. Instead of a handful of integrations we built ourselves, you can browse by category or search by name, see exactly what each app can access, and connect it in a couple of clicks. Yes. Our developer portal is open to anyone — build it yourself or bring in a partner. Spin up a fully functional test account, build and test your integration, then publish it once to distribute it to every Stora operator. Every connection runs on OAuth, so operators grant access without sharing credentials and can revoke it at any time. Start building at developer.stora.co.
Yes. The Stora API supports both reading data from Stora and writing data back, allowing you to build two-way integrations rather than simple data exports.

No. The API is additive. You can continue using Stora's storefront, emails, and workflows while layering custom integrations or automation on top.
Yes. You can reserve units and manage allocations through the API — allowing third-party systems to reserve units, create and remove allocations, and manage access and overlocks in sync with Stora.
